Install the App on the repositories you choose. Finish linking your Celesto organization before running a job.
Install the GitHub App
Select the GitHub account and repositories where you want to use Celesto CI.
Connect your Celesto account
Sign in, or create an account if you’re new. Continue directly to CI setup.
Choose who pays
Select your Celesto billing organization and verify GitHub access. Start its eligible $5 trial, or add credits if you’ve already used the trial.
Change the runner label and push
Update your workflow, then follow the job in GitHub Actions. Celesto starts the runner in the cloud.

Before your first run.
Do I need a Celesto account?
Yes. After installing the GitHub App, sign in or create a Celesto account and finish linking it to a billing organization. Installing the App alone does not enable runners.
What if I belong to multiple organizations?
Choose the eligible Celesto organization that will own and pay for the installation’s jobs. Check that organization’s credits before running CI.
Does my computer need to stay on?
No. GitHub sends the job event to Celesto, and the runner runs in Celesto Cloud.
How much CI can I run for free?
A one-time $5 trial covers up to 10,000 minutes (166 hours 40 minutes) at the Micro rate of $0.0005 per minute. Credits expire after 30 days and are shared with other sandbox usage. Runner preparation and cleanup consume runtime too. The trial allows one retained Micro sandbox at a time, so an existing sandbox can prevent a CI runner from starting.
What happens when credits run out?
New runners cannot start. Follow the credit guidance in GitHub, add credits to the linked organization, then retry the workflow.
Will every existing workflow work unchanged?
Review the tools and operating system your job needs. Celesto CI currently provisions a Linux Micro runner with 1 vCPU and 2 GB RAM. Jobs needing Windows, macOS, more memory, or additional tools need a suitable environment; verify requirements before migrating.
