# Celesto AI

> Build AI agents in markdown and give each one a hardware-isolated cloud computer. Deploy in seconds with browser, desktop, shell and file access.

Celesto is two layers that work as one. Sandboxes are hardware-isolated microVMs that boot in about 500ms and give an agent a real machine: a shell, a filesystem, and a full browser driven over CDP or VNC, with snapshot and resume that keep processes intact and restricted egress so an agent cannot exfiltrate data. The agent runtime is where the harness itself is built and run: define an agent, connect tools and MCP servers, and deploy it. The harness runs outside the sandbox, because the sandbox is disposable and an agent should not control its own loop, but co-located with it so tool calls never cross the internet.
